You may love your child deeply and still feel unsure how to respond when emotions run high, conversations shut down, boundaries turn into battles, or the same behavior keeps repeating.

Am I too strict? Too lenient? How do I get through without making it worse? How do I stay calm when they are not? What do I do when what used to work stops working?

Parenting in Progress is a six-week support and skills group built to strengthen family relationships while giving you practical, evidence-based tools for the moments that feel hardest at home.

Inside the group

Become more confident in how you respond

This group is not about becoming a perfect parent. It is about becoming a more intentional, effective, connected one.

Through guided discussion, practical strategies, and support from other parents, you will work on:

  • Communicating during hard, emotionally charged conversations
  • Creating more open dialogue with your child
  • De-escalating tension instead of getting pulled into it
  • Handling sensitive topics with empathy and confidence
  • Setting clear, healthy boundaries
  • Managing challenging behavior more effectively
  • Reinforcing the choices you want to see repeated
  • Staying grounded when your child is upset or resistant
  • Strengthening connection without giving up structure

Just as importantly, you get other parents who understand that raising children is deeply rewarding and deeply hard at the same time.

Is this you?

Who this group is for

  • Conversations with your child keep turning into arguments
  • You are unsure when to set a limit and when to give space
  • You want better tools for difficult behavior
  • You keep repeating the same patterns with no change
  • You want to communicate with more patience and confidence
  • You feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or alone in it
  • You want a stronger relationship without losing the boundaries

You do not need to have parenting figured out. Parenting is a process, and you can keep getting better at it.
