Depth-Oriented Therapy for Healing and Growth

Taking the first step toward change can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in safety and trust. My approach is thoughtful and compassionate, creating space to explore both present challenges and the deeper patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others.

As Carl Jung wrote, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” In therapy, we can gently explore the beliefs, emotional experiences, and relational patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck. Together, we will work toward greater clarity, resilience, and a more authentic way of living.

I work with teens, adults, and families navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, mood concerns, and identity exploration. When helpful, I integrate insight-oriented and mind-body approaches, including Brainspotting, to support healing that can extend beyond words alone.

She looks forward to translating this experience into high-quality psychological assessment work at Pivot, in collaboration with the lead testing psychologists.

Sophia is a native Russian speaker and offers therapy in both English and Russian. She was born in Russia, grew up in New York City, and later moved to California, which has helped shape her sensitivity to identity, culture, and change.
